Shop Sensational Saginaw: A Celebration of Local Businesses
From June 6–8, downtown Saginaw will come alive with the annual Shop Sensational Saginaw event at the SVRC Marketplace. Attendees can explore a diverse array of local vendors, savor offerings from food trucks, and enjoy live entertainment. This event not only provides a platform for small businesses to showcase their products but also fosters a sense of community among residents and visitors alike.

Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival: Embracing Inclusivity
Mark your calendars for June 28, as the Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival makes its debut at Saginaw's Jolt Credit Union Event Park. This relocation from Bay City signifies the festival's growth and its mission to reach a broader audience. The festival promises a day filled with food trucks, live music, a kids' activity zone, and over 70 vendors. An 18+ drag show will cap off the festivities at the Dow Event Center Red Room. This event underscores the region's dedication to celebrating diversity and fostering an inclusive environment for all.

Infrastructure Improvements: Enhancing Connectivity | In addition to these cultural events, the region is witnessing significant infrastructure developments. The Michigan Department of Transportation has recently reopened both directions of US-10 near the M-30 bridge in Sanford after completing essential repairs. While US-10 is now fully operational, M-30 remains closed over US-10 due to ongoing structural improvements. These enhancements aim to improve transportation efficiency and safety for residents and visitors. |
